Originally from Wedgeport, Nova Scotia – the Tuna Fishing Capital of the World – Kevin grew up in a close-knit French Acadian community that fostered his adventurous spirit. After starting as a flight attendant, travelling widely, and meeting people from all walks of life, he pivoted to a career in palliative nursing after the events of 9/11. This transition allowed Kevin to channel a deep-seated desire to help others, providing comfort and support to patients and their families during some of life’s most challenging moments.

Kevin’s journey into podcasting began as a quest for meaningful conversation. On Kevjet, he explores a range of topics from personal growth and entrepreneurship to lifestyle and culture, curating an eclectic mix of ideas for his listeners. His interviewing style is marked by genuine curiosity and warmth, putting guests at ease and inviting them to share personal and thought-provoking experiences. This authentic approach not only entertains but fosters a strong sense of community among his listeners.

Beyond the podcast, Kevin collaborates on various creative projects, including public speaking and music tour management. Together with his husband, Nick, he co-owns a lively recording studio in London that draws artists from all genres. The couple first met on holiday and had a strong connection. Their move to London was spurred by Nick’s career in the music industry and was the start of a whole new adventure for Kevin, who quickly settled into his new home and wider community.

Kevin is also active on social media, building a dialogue with his audience that extends the podcast’s impact. His recent work includes a partnership with Canada Day London, where he hosted backstage interviews in Trafalgar Square, and a five-part series, Run Up to Canada Day, which drew listeners in with stories leading up to the celebration. He recently travelled to Wrexham, Wales, to cover the UK’s Terry Fox Run, expanding his influence through a special documentary episode set for release on November 29th.

One of Kevin’s most memorable moments on Kevjet was his powerful interview with Michelle, a childhood friend from Nova Scotia facing terminal cancer. The conversation resonated deeply, leaving an indelible mark on listeners and exemplifying Kevin’s talent for creating connections that truly matter.

Through Kevjet The Podcast, Kevin aims to empower his listeners, providing a space where stories inspire, inform, and invite everyone to chase their passions and embrace life with confidence.
